The Victorian Council of Churches' Social Questions Commission are hosting a forum on Refugee and Migrant Sunday, bringing together people from different denominations to share together about how best we advocate for refugees and people seeking asylum.

The Churches' Approach to Advocacy for Refugees and People Seeking Asylum: A Refugee and Migrant Sunday Forum will include a Theological Reflection given by Rev. Sharon Hollis, Moderator of the Uniting Church Synod of Victoria and Tasmania.

Other presenters during the day include:

Sr. Brigid Arthur - Brigidine Asylum Seekers Project;

Rev. Ian Smith - Victorian Council of Churches;

Jill Ruzbacky - UCA Justice and International Mission Unit;

Misha Coleman - Australian Churches' Refugee Taskforce; and

Lucy Allan - Love Makes a Way

We'd love you to come and join us and hear of the work already being undertaken by various groups across Victoria, and share together ideas, experiences and our joys and concerns!
