It is important to keep reminding individuals – especially parliamentarians – to be careful in distinguising between refugees and enslaved (trafficked) people … very often, they seem not to be clear about this. Refugees need help, but they come voluntarily – trafficked individuals have lost their identity and their freedom – that’s different.
