Fair Trade Fortnight is the biggest global celebration of fairtrade and it is about to hit Melbourne. Starting 3 May, Fairtrade Fortnight features a range of events including the exclusive ‘Fashion Fights Fair’ fashion parade – hosted by enigmatic singer/songwriter, Claire Bowditch, and directed by former Japanese Vogue stylist Leeyong Soo. The parade, on 9 May at BMW Edge will include a number of fashion garments made from Fairtrade Certified Cotton and breaking new ground in the fashion industry. Another major Fair Trade Fortnight Event is the Fairtrade Latte Art Challenge, gracing Melbourne Central Station 6 May 8am -12pm it features 10 elite international baristas. Pick up the exclusive Fairtrade Palpitations- coffee lovers guide to fairtrade cafes in Melbourne at the Latte Art Challenge or any of the other events. FREE during the Fortnight.
